VIENNA, VA, October 15th, 2024 – The U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) Office of the General Counsel (OGC) has selected ArkCase to deploy its comprehensive Matter Management solution- which has now gone live!
As OPM’s in-house legal department, OGC manages a broad range of legal matters, including litigation, administrative tasks, FOIA requests, insurance matters, audits, rulemaking, and contract management. Previously, OGC had no formal system in place—managing and storing legal requests on spreadsheets and shared drives, which posed significant challenges in efficiency and organization. Now, OPM is transitioning from this manual process to the sophisticated ArkCase Matter Management system, designed to streamline and enhance their legal operations.
Improving Legal Operations at OPM
This implementation includes a full suite of case and records management capabilities, along with essential services such as system configuration, ongoing maintenance, and comprehensive training for OGC’s team of over 40 attorneys and support staff. ArkCase will also assist in achieving the Authority to Operate (ATO) for the system and ensure compliance with licensing and maintenance requirements.
