Your ArkCase user profile is the space for identifying yourself–by role(s), contact information, location information…even by profile picture and signature. Here you can see at a glance the groups to which you belong and the subscriptions to which you are subscribed. Profile details are particularly helpful when team members work in different locations or for different organizations. The user can also reset their ArkCase application password and outlook password from the profile page.
Opening/Viewing Your Profile
Only you can open and view your profile–at any time, from anywhere in ArkCase.
Steps for Opening and Viewing Your Profile:
- Click the User Menu frame to open the menu.
- Click the My Profile option from the list.
Your Profile page opens. The first time you open it, the page will look similar to the example below.
The Profile displays your name and e-mail address. You will add the missing (Unknown) information.
Viewing Security Groups
Your security groups will show in the Groups Section directly under your Profile picture on the Profile page. The group(s) that are listed there control your Role Based Access Control (RBAC) that allows your specific privileges and access in the application.
Updating Your Profile
You can return to your profile page at any time to update professional details as changes occur, for example, change to your title or role, which appears in the ArkCase Profile frame when you are logged in, or changes to your contact information. (Updating Your Profile)
Updating Picture
Steps to Updating Profile Picture:
1. Click the Change Picture and Windows Explorer opens your shared drives and folders.
2. Locate and select the image you want to upload.
3. When the file name appears in the File name field, click Open. The image is added to your profile.
Acceptable image file formats are .jpeg/jpg, .png, and .gif.
Updating Title
Steps to Updating Profile Title:
1. Click on the Title and an inline editable text box will open.
2. Enter the updated title and then click the save button.
3. If the user decides to cancel the update, during the inline text update, the ‘X’ button can be clicked.
Updating Signature
Steps to Updating Profile Signature:
1. Click the Change Signature and Windows Explorer opens your shared drives and folders.
2. Locate and select the image you want to upload.
3. When the file name appears in the File name field, click Open. The image is added to your profile.

1. Click on any Contact Information field and an inline editable text box will open.
2. Enter the updated information and then click the save button.

2. Enter the updated details and then click the save button.

Changing Your Outlook Password

1. Click your name in the profile space to open the Profile pop-up menu. Click to select Profile.
2. When your profile page opens, click the Store Outlook Password button located at right in the title bar.
3. When the Store Outlook Password dialog box opens, enter your new credentials (two times) and click Save Changes.
4. Your new password automatically becomes effective.
5. To Cancel changing Outlook Password, click the Cancel button.

3. When the Change Password dialog box opens, enter your new credentials (two times) and click Change Password.

View/Delete Subscriptions

1. Click your name in the profile space to open the Profile pop-up menu. Click to select Profile.
2. When your profile page opens, scroll down to the Subscriptions section to view all Subscriptions.
Delete Subscriptions
1. Click your name in the profile space to open the Profile pop-up menu. Click to select Profile.
2. When your profile page opens, scroll down to the Subscriptions section to view all Subscriptions.
3. Now delete one row at a time by click the icon or select one, many or all Subscriptions and click the ‘Unsubscribe Selected’ action.
